The Original Mel's Diner, where the TV show was filmed. The food was tasty. I had a BLT with the chicken soup. Everyone else had breakfast. Great place for nostalgia
Agree with all reviews, everyone was super friendly, kind, and makes ya feel at home. Staff very attentive, coffee stayed full, meal was plentiful and didn’t break the bank. Will definitely return as made me feel at home!
Finally made it to Mel's Diner! They have been here a long time, I have driven by for 20 years as a resident and even more as a visitor. The food is classic diner food that hits the spot. The servers were friendly and understanding of our kids. Pretty chill spot, not too loud for table conversations. We split a farmers omelette and had a biscuit with gravy. The gravy could use some sausage, otherwise it's pretty good. The omelette was meaty, just the way we like it!
This is my 3rd vist in the past year. Food always great service fast and prices responsible. I would recommend trying it out. Only downside is the decor is dated but that is the whole theme.
It was a cool nostalgic place to eat. Menu was pretty decent. Typical breakfast food. Price was comparable to other breakfast spots. Enjoyed the servers who seated and took our orders. Very friendly and service was quick. Would definitely return.
Lived in Phoenix 21 years wish I came here 21 years ago Mel’s is now on my list of favorite Diners in Phoenix and how cool to dine at a place that was a tv series from my childhood. Generous portions reasonable prices.
First time at Mel's. Excellent food and the service was super friendly. Plus, it is fun thinking about the old TV program.
